I created a new product line for Nike that would introduce a new customer segment, young dancers. Growing up as a dancer myself, I was inspired to create a inclusive, mystifying collection that invites representation of dancers as athletes.
The aesthetic inspiration for this line, the "Back to the Studio" ballet collection, is a forest fairy's dream, creating an enchanting blend of light and dark elements within this collection. As shown, I designed a mood boards and a color story to represent this theme.
The new product line I designed for Nike features three classifications: Leotards, Warm-up Garments, and Dance Accessories.
I researched trend forecasts and reports to create this line, which aims to better serve Nike’s current customer segment while attracting new female customers seeking inclusive and stylish ballet wear that empowers them in their movement activities.
